Designed to equip participants with principles and skills to present with credibility, clarity, natural personality and rapport with their audiences.

  

Target Audience

Anyone who needs to present, sell, inspire or persuade a group. Specifically designed to reach a broad group, the program can be tailored on the day to meet the needs and capability of the participant group.

  

Program Overview

For anyone presenting, the quality of communication will determine the quality of “buy in” just as much as product knowledge, technical expertise and visual collateral. We teach the techniques that professional actors use in performance; timing, voice and body language are applied to engage, create impressions and influence the audiences mind and mood.

Participants learn to balance structure and spontaneity in their presentations, to allow accuracy of message and a high level of responsiveness to their audience. We recognise that presentation technique alone won’t cut it, which is why we go deeper into the attitudes and mindset of the presenter. Going beyond technique brings out the confidence and natural personality required to build genuine rapport with an audience. This results in speakers who deliver their message with strength of purpose and presence, as well as skilful delivery technique.

 The sessions give practical, hands-on techniques that are immediately transferable to the workplace, from 1:1 to 1: many presentation scenarios. Participants deliver pre-prepared workplace presentations several times over the course of the workshop and apply new skills to their current workplace scenarios. Feedback and coaching from a skilled facilitator on their delivery style, will increase selfawareness and provide techniques that will elevate confidence and capability.

Preparation

Participants prepare a 3-minute presentation (stand alone or “slice” of a larger presentation) to deliver in a group setting. Participants receive individualised feedback and coaching to move to new levels of confidence, range and capability as a presenter.

  

Coaching for Mastery

Participants prepare a 3-minute presentation (stand alone or “slice” of a larger presentation) to deliver in a group setting. Participants receive individualised feedback and coaching to move to new levels of confidence, range and capability as a presenter.

  

Trainer / Participant Ratio

PowerPoint can be a superb tool but all too often it becomes a crutch to hide behind at the expense of the dynamic human factor. Our approach focuses on getting the balance right so that visual aids serve rather than dominate the presentation. We also explore a range of alternative approaches to presentation delivery including storytelling and mind mapping.
