Presentation Skills Participants
For anyone presenting, the quality of communication will determine the quality of “buy in” just as much as product knowledge, technical expertise and visual collateral. We teach the techniques that professional actors use in performance; timing, voice and body language are applied to engage, create impressions and influence the audiences mind and mood.
Participants learn to balance structure and spontaneity in their presentations, to allow accuracy of message and a high level of responsiveness to their audience. We recognise that presentation technique alone won’t cut it, which is why we go deeper into the attitudes and mindset of the presenter. Going beyond technique brings out the confidence and natural personality required to build genuine rapport with an audience. This results in speakers who deliver their message with strength of purpose and presence, as well as skilful delivery technique.
The sessions give practical, hands-on techniques that are immediately transferable to the workplace, from 1:1 to 1: many presentation scenarios. Participants deliver pre-prepared workplace presentations several times over the course of the workshop and apply new skills to their current workplace scenarios. Feedback and coaching from a skilled facilitator on their delivery style, will increase selfawareness and provide techniques that will elevate confidence and capability.
