The Delegation Skills program aims to improve the ability of leaders to prioritise, assign and supervise tasks and projects with greater clarity, efficiency and flexibility. It will equip leaders with skills to delegate in a way that gets the best out of people, and ultimately elevates performance.
Through a balanced combination of theory, skill building and practice, the program will address common questions that leaders ask when delegating tasks. Understanding the needs of different team members and adapting approaches is critical to successful delegation. When done well this can motivate team members to perform at their optimum.
Skilful delegation also eliminates mismatched expectations, and the need for corrective feedback at project completion. The program will support leaders to motivate team member to perform at their highest from the outset, addressing the root cause for under-performance on tasks.
